Zipacna is a loyal servant of Apophis, who served as Archon for Klorel during the Triad on Tollana. He also organized the Goa'uld attempt to destroy those proceedings and take over the planet.

Zipacna was a Mayan giant, the son of Gukup Cakix and Chimalmat, and the brother of Caprakan (Mayan god of earthquakes and mountains).

Constellations:
One tale describes how the heavenly twins Hun-Apu and Xbalanque were feuding with Zipacna. They tricked him into a pit and buried him, but Zipacna waited until they finished building their house over the pit and then erupted from below, flinging the twins and all their helpers into the sky, where they became the Pleiades.
